Jasmine Cullingford
I am a Theatre Arts graduate with a passion for acting. As a music scholar at school, I played the violin in several orchestras, sang in choirs and performed solo in music concerts. My strong musical background provided me the necessary experience and discipline needed to become a performer. My interest in acting began when I decided to take LAMDA lessons and audition for the school musical production. A year later I started my journey as a performer at university where I pushed myself to develop my skills even further. During my three years studying theatre I was able to evolve my techniques by experimenting and applying new ways of portraying the characters I played. For my third year core project I was involved in a devised immersive piece where we incorporated satire and improvisation into sketches that parodied different TV genres. I have also had the opportunity to write a full script, direct a short screenplay and perform a 10 minute stand-up comedy set. Since graduating I have performed in several comedy gigs and am now currently involved in SilverFish’s latest project. I am eager to continue practicing and developing my skills further in this field.
