Ruth-Magdaléna Schmidtová

       Ruth is a Theatre Art student at Middlesex University. Born and raised in the Czech Republic she started with acting at the age of 13 when she was cast in a feature film Lehka jako dech (2013). Since then she started engaging in theatre and became a member of student theatre groups such as OldStart and Prague Youth Theatre and acted in over 10 productions. Apart from theatre she is also experienced in screen acting and stared in short movies. Her most recent ones Youth (2018) and Sugar (2019) were selected for film festivals around the world such as Deep Focus Film Festival in New York, Hackney Shorts Film Festival London, Taratsa International Film Festival, 15th Kinofilm Manchester, POW Film Fest, International Film Festival Signes de Nuit in Paris and BAFTA qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival.
