Dr Sam Beale

As Programme Leader for the BA Theatre Arts (Solo Performance) Sam specialises in teaching solo performance forms including stand-up comedy and autobiographical performance. She also contributes to the core teaching across the Theatre Arts programmes with interests in 20th and 21st century European drama and contemporary theatre practices including performance/live art and site-specific performance. Interests involve comic performance and the 19th century British music hall, stand-up comedy and autobiographical performance, interactive performance in non-conventional spaces. Sam has taught Theatre Arts at Middlesex University since 1998.
